HOPE
“God is light; In him there is no darkness...”
[1 John 1:5]
No matter how dark life may seem, this verse reminds us that God is pure light—holy, perfect, and unchanging. Darkness cannot overcome Him. Our hope is anchored in this truth: if we belong to Him, we are never truly lost. Even when we face trials, uncertainties, or sin, God’s light shines through, guiding us back to Himself.
True hope is not found in our circumstances but in Christ, the Light who never fades.
MEET OUR PASTOR
Pastor Million Kambuli Jr.
Pastor Million Kambuli Jr. serves as Pastor of Silverest Central Baptist Church, a confessional Reformed Baptist church holding to the 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith. In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, he had the joy of being sent by Kabwata Baptist Church to plant Silverest Central Baptist Church. By God's providence, the church grew and has since become an autonomous local church.
He is passionate about preaching God's Word, shepherding God's people, and equipping the next generation of church leaders. He holds a Diploma in Theology, a Bachelor of Divinity, and a Master of Arts in Pastoral Theology from African Christian University.
In addition to his pastoral ministry, Pastor Million lectures in Hebrew, Greek, Latin, Philosophy, and Mathematics at African Christian University and Lusaka Ministerial College. He is also a local and international conference speaker, author, and Associate Editor of Reformation Zambia magazine.
Pastor Million is married to Theresa, and they are blessed with a daughter, Leah. Together, they are committed to making Christ known for the glory of God.
